Positive: It had everything we needed was clean and tidy.
Negative: No blind on the bathroom window. The house is isolated but it felt weird with no blind.
Summary: It was too remote for more and amongst bush. But was lovely all the same. Beds too hard.

Positive: If you book Green Gully house, don't organise to do too much during your stay, as once you arrive, you won't want to leave! The house is super clean and has every possible comfort available. The kitchen is fully equiped, there's piles of books, CD player and DVD player with a full range of options for all tastes. Comfy beds, shampoo, soap, hairdryer, tissues - nothing has been overlooked. The property is about 15 min from Daylesford but there is a gorgeous shop/cafe right at Glenyon where you can go for brekky and coffee. Communication with the host was fantastic. Can't recommend this house highly enough!

Positive: Stunning location and grounds, comfortable beds, lovely stylish interior, large kitchen, fabulous garden and veggie patch, and very quiet. Rooms were dark and quiet too which was great for kids with a time change. Fireplace was toasty too. Bath was wonderful and a fabulous strong shower. Other reviews have commented on the Tv size but we thought it was nice not to have something take over the room. Wood, music and book collections were fabulous.
Negative: Lovely stay, so passing on these comments as suggestions to make the stay even more wonderful (vs any substantial criticism. We will definitely be booking again!). The oven doesn’t seal well, and only one setting (fan force) seems to work (grilling would have been useful). A few lights are blinking (toilet/right hand of two on either side of fireplace) or out (right side of dining table). There was a dead rabbit/hare on the grass next to the car port, and couldn’t find shovel or similar to dispose of it (but kept kids away from it, as less than ideal on Easter weekend whilst searching for eggs). Might be a wasp nest near the bbq as lots of wasps there. Cleanliness could do with a bit of attention - there were underwear labels in the wardrobe (threw them out, but stopped at moving the hygiene sticker still remaining 🙂), and some toy cars, food etc under coffee table and couches. All was minor so didn’t detract from the stay, apart from dead rabbit and some raised nails on the hardwood floors near steps down to dining table. If you wanted to add little extras, then some kids plastic bowls, plates and cups and a cheap pod coffee machine would have been most welcome 😃
